Hand-made slipware

Ursina pottingMy relationship with clay goes back to my childhood in Switzerland where I was brought up near a pottery.

I trained as a potter in London in 1988 and moved to Berneray in 1996 where I set up my own workshop. Island life provides me with unending inspiration for pattern, form and texture.

Each pot is unique, made and decorated by hand and fired in an electric kiln on the premises. Pots can be posted to any destination in the UK.

My own paintings and prints are also for sale in the shop, along with hand-made gifts.

I am happy to give throwing demonstrations and can provide basic throwing tuition if notified in advance.
