The Philante

Though seaworthy, the Philante currently serves as a houseboat for its owner.

The boat was named after the boat of Sir Thomas Sopwith (designer of the World War I plane, the Sopwith Camel). This original Philante, a steam yacht, is now the Norwegian royal yacht.
