Berneray school building
The building that used to house Berneray school. The school closed in the summer of 2005, as the roll was about to drop to 3 due to the elder children moving on to secondary school (having said that, there are a number of pre- schoolage children resident on Berneray). The closure was marked by a comprehensive exhibition of old photographs and memorabilia, and a ceilidh, buffet and musical recital on the last day of school, June 30th 2005.
