The Nurse's cottage
The old Nurse's Cottage can be found in Backhill, just past the fishing harbour. In 2004, residents of Berneray redeveloped the cottage. It now houses the historical society and the youth cafe. In the summer months the Nurse's Cottage is also manned by residents of Berneray, who provide current and historical information about the island.
