Landscapes of Berneray gallery

The morning after snow

Berneray is roughly three miles by two at its widest and longest points. The landscape is a mixture of machair, low hills, beaches, lochs and boggy land. As these pictures show, most of this land is a working environment.

As the tallest hill on Berneray is less than 300 feet high, it is an easy island to explore and view the varied landscapes.
