Borve from Borve Hill
Part of Borve, looking down from Borve Hill. At the turn of the 20th century Borve was a lot more crowded, and crofting was more intense; every bit of land was used for crops and grazing. Look carefully and you can see the stone outlines of several buildings. In this view, you can see new and redeveloped housing, plus older buildings and the outline of a large sheep pen.
