An Caladh

An Caladh is a very spacious property, located on the south shore of Bays Loch. It can accommodate up to nine guests in five bedrooms. There are three kingsize beds and three singles. There are two bathrooms.

The house sits in its own garden with mature trees, not far from the Nurses’ Cottage Visitor Centre and the fishing harbour. It is also a few hundred yards from the Post office and the seal viewing area, and less than a mile from the shop & bistro and the Berneray ferry terminal.

Perhaps its most outstanding feature is the amazing panoramic view out over the Minch offered from many of the windows in the house. You will never tire of watching the comings and goings from the harbour, the ever-changing light out in the bay and the views north towards the Isle of Harris.

An Caladh is well-equipped with washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher. The large living/dining room boasts a wide screen TV and an open fireplace. Guests are welcome to light the fire on chilly evenings, and a ‘starter pack’ of coal is left for your convenience. More can be purchased from the local shop. The main heating is provided by oil central heating and the house is cosy throughout.

Complimentary wi-fi is available in most rooms of the house and the 4G mobile signal is good.

Parking is available for two cars.

Bookings run from Saturday to Saturday, and the cost is £850 per week, including all utilities.
