The Church : Eaglais na h-Alba

Berneray Church is located in Backhill, close to the Post Office and seal viewing area, at the top of Church Road.

Berneray and Lochmaddy form a joint congregation. There are two services every Sunday, one at 11am and an evening service at 6pm. Every Sunday, one service is held in Berneray Church, and the other in Lochmaddy Church; the times alternate every week.

The church also has a guild organisation. Prayer meetings are held once a fortnight, on Wednesdays at 7:30pm.

The congregation is of mixed denomination. Visitors are very welcome to attend services and other church events.
